The 2nd guy. Brilliant.

Dmitry Olshansky

Du gun confuses being rural and undeveloped with being traditional.

The people on New Guinea in 234 BC were traditional. Yes?

I maybe exaggerated a bit, admittedly. I am the first to say that hedge fund managers imoverishing a world for their own selfish motives are not "advanced" or progressive except in perfection of predatory technique enhanced by being removed so distantly from their prey that they don't notice their destruction. Just as much as I also do not think promoting irreversible gender change on young people is advanced, intelligent or in anyone's interest.

Perhaps Dugin can recover from the awful grief he is experiencing and take lessons from Mr Olshansky. Who is a brilliant observer and possibly even diagnostician. I wish everyone well.

It is too late for Dugin to change that radically. He built his life and career on this kind of philosophy and rhetoric. I can't say that it is entirely useless or even harmful, as this is viewed in Russia as "traditional" and it provides an inspirational value for many. In my view if it takes this kind of talk to inspire people to do great things beyond of what they thought themselves capable of doing is probably good for society. On the Olshansky side, as I said - he is a brilliant writer. I have been reading him for the past 10 years or so and have always had admiration for his talent. Does he stray sometimes way to the Western liberal side? Yes, he does. Is he right about everything that he sets his verdict about? No, he is not. Like his postulate that Russia is not a traditional society. This is both true and not true. Russia still holds a lot of traditionalism and respect for it, though it is not universal and varies by region. Like one of the comments under my article said - nothing is linear in what we see happening around us. I wholeheartedly agreed - we have to be prepared to deal with nonlinear complexity around us to have the slightest hope to understand the current world.

I don't discount the value of inspiration and appreciation and love for ones ancestors, and should have anticipated that it might be taken as though maybe I don't. It's a very sensitive subject. I guess if I could be "one of the boys" with Dugin and let down my hair I'd say to him something like: Actually Vladimir, the West is in many ways far more depraved than you often rightly delineate or possibly suspect. I have lived there longer than you have been alive, I know. It is drunk on mass murder, for example. See Uvalde Texas and hundreds of other shootings annually, which are obviously condoned by the authorities. It is in fact their own internal or domestic defense program, but don't you dare say so or .. So is it wise to declare yourself to be essentially militarily against the powers of darkness and evil? Of depraved indifference to human life not only including children, but the children of their own countrymen? Granted it is virtuous. But is it a smart thing to do?

They are not even people, Vladimir. They are killers, as outrageous as killers can possibly be. For all we know they have instituted the program of sexually destroying their own descendants for the simple purpose of enraging the remaining decent people alive who, of course, they wish to destroy. Yes. That is what militarism raised to an infernally high power had done to them. I submit, humbly, and out of love, that it is a thing long known that illnesses of such degree are incurable, and if opposed with irritations or elements on which their organisms have not only become immune but indeed now find their required and desired nourishment - it only strengthens them.

Thanks for the translation. It was a great idea to juxtapose Dugin the idealistic theoricist and ideologue preaching from his ivory tower with the pragmatic Olshansky, clearly with his both feet standing firm in the proverbial mud of daily reality. Dugin is a well known figure whose rethoric -for the people following him for some time- is now basically limited to a recurring reiteration of the same ideas, views and perspectives. So the above harangue of Dugin contains no surprises. What did surprise though is the revelatory effect the sensical views of Olshansky and his criticism of Dugan has on the figure of Dugan in particular and Russia, it's people and civilization in general.

Looks like you are the first who dared to read and comment on this article. Congrats and thanks! I did put an effort into translation of a fairly long text. Let's see for a couple of days if we'll have more brave people ;)

Most, perhaps even all of us who visit this place are in agreement on this point.

FWIW, the other day I composed this, and posted it to starry-eyed western russophiles

Putin's points vs. Russia's realities

SOVEREIGNTY

* Many Russians would tell you the central bank of Russia acts in Western moneyed interests

TRADITIONAL VALUES

* Russia has higher divorce rates than almost any country in the world, and surely much higher than any country in the West

https://duckduckgo.com/divorce+rates+per+country

* In Russia, religiosity is, in fact, declining

FREEDOM AND AGAINST ECONOMIC PARASITISM

* In Russia, 1% of people control 60% of the wealth

https://t.me/map_mind/6223

PRO-HUMANITY, AGAINST TRANSHUMANISM

* Russia develops new, additional mRNA poisons

* Russia introduces intensive digitization of childhood and everything else alive

Think about all of this.
